Working Together to End Violence Against Women
Together, we are helping to empower immigrant and refugee women and their children impacted by domestic abuse / family violence.
We are building meaningful working relationships with organizations to address the problem of domestic abuse and family violence in Winnipeg. The needs of women and children leaving violent home situations include housing, childcare, health, learning, employment, and social inclusion. SHADE accepts referrals to meet the needs of our diverse ethnocultural community in confidential, respectful and culturally sensitive ways. Addressing these needs now will help generations of families to be healthy, confident, and empowered.
SHADE relies on individual donations, grants, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) donations to carry out our work. For more information on partnering with SHADE, please use the Contact form and someone will directly reach out.
A big thanks to all of our partners who have supported the work of SHADE.
